Many tourists from Bulgaria and abroad gathered in Bansko for the International Beer Fest. The fest will continue until August 5, giving plenty of time to the visitors and the locals to enjoy good music and tasty beer. Tents have already been pitched in the town's central square boasting several fountains, a getaway from the heat to more than 300 visitors. The beer fest has enjoyed great popularity so far. Beer - lovers swarm in the centre even when the temperatures are at their highest. Large crowds gather in front of the bars and the beer fest kicks off.

Long queues keep on winding from 8:00 pm till midnight. At least fifty persons wait their turn to order a pint of beer and some snacks. Although the resort is located at the foot of the mountain, the heat could be felt even in the evening here. And as it comes, the best cure for the summer swelter is a pint of cold beer and a snack to go with it. The organizers of the beer fest in Bansko are the owners of Molerite hotel complex, Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena and Bansko Municipality. They have supplied not only the good beer and snacks, but great music as well.
